Job summary

King Construction Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead commercial builds in Hancock County, responsible for schedules, submittals, and ensuring milestones are met. This full-time role is located in Maine and offers a competitive salary with a potential annual bonus.

You will coordinate with estimators and field supervisors, run regular subcontractor meetings, and drive project results while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience managing government construction projects from initiation through closeout.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite & Procore or comparable project management software programs.
• Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to manage multiple complex submittals concurrently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with subcontractors, clients, and field staff.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and enforce overall project schedules to ensure field teams hit critical completion deadlines.
• Process submittals, RFIs, and project requisitions to maintain steady project momentum.
• Coordinate and lead regular project meetings with subcontractors, field supervisors, and project stakeholders.
• Maintain clear and consistent daily communication with subcontractors to align jobsite expectations.
• Monitor field operations to ensure supervisors strictly adhere to approved construction schedules.
• Collaborate with estimating and project management teams to keep overall project costs in check.
