Job summary

Design Hire LLC in Columbus, OH, seeks a hands-on Construction Project Manager to lead commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field leadership to deliver on time, safely and within budget.

Responsibilities include developing plans, managing schedules, budgets, and change orders while ensuring quality and compliance. Travel to Columbus-area sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of construction project management experience.
• Experience delivering commercial construction projects valued at $5M–$50M+.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction documentation and contract administration.
• Experience with Design‑Build, negotiated, or CM delivery methods.
• Proficiency with PM tools listed above.
• OSHA 30 preferred; valid driver's license; ability to travel to Columbus-area sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through preconstruction and closeout with clear execution plans.
• Build and manage construction scheduling and long-lead material tracking.
• Oversee budgeting, financial performance, billing, and forecasting.
• Manage subcontractor coordination, meetings, and field communication.
• Review change orders, RFIs, submittals, drawings, specs, and contracts.
