Jobot is seeking a Construction Project Manager in Grand Rapids to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will drive schedules, coordinate architects and engineers, monitor budgets, and ensure client expectations are met with high-quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, strong communication, and proficient use of construction software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction or construction management.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor budgets, change orders, invoices, and overall financial performance.
• Review plans, specs, scopes of work, and project documentation.
• Identify and resolve schedule, cost, quality, and coordination issues.
• Manage bidding, subcontractor coordination, procurement, and contracts.
• Conduct project meetings and communicate action items clearly.
• Provide updates to clients and leadership on project progress.
• Coordinate field activities and site personnel to maintain momentum.
• Support safety, quality, and professionalism standards.
• Assist with estimating, budgeting, value engineering, and planning.
• Manage project documentation throughout construction.
• Coordinate inspections, turnover, and project closeout.
• Build long-term relationships with clients and partners.
• Take ownership of problems and drive them to resolution.
