Job summary

InSite Group is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead a landmark mixed-use redevelopment in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This full-time, site-based role will serve as the Owner's on-site representative, coordinating architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to complete the project on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• 5-7 years of commercial construction management experience, including oversight of large-scale mixed-use projects.
• Experience managing complex retail redevelopment projects is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Construction Execution: Lead day-to-day construction activities ensuring work complies with plans, specs, schedules and budgets.
• Site Management: Maintain full-time site presence coordinating across contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Project Coordination: Align architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors for seamless execution.
• Budget Management: Monitor budgets, track milestones, and manage change orders to protect the project budget.
• Schedule Management: Maintain project schedules, manage procurement risks, and coordinate tenant moves.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct site inspections to verify workmanship and enforce quality standards.
• Contract Administration: Review RFIs, submittals, and pay apps; ensure documentation is accurate.
• Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Promote a safe site per OSHA regulations and codes.
• Project Reporting: Prepare daily/weekly reports, meeting minutes, and logs.
• Project Closeout: Coordinate inspections, warranties, and turnover.
