We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead the day-to-day execution of a landmark mixed-use redevelopment project. This full-time, site-based role will oversee the transformation of a recently acquired shopping mall into a dynamic destination featuring retail, residential, restaurants, entertainment, and public spaces.
The Commercial Construction Project Manager will serve as the Owner's primary on-site representative and central point of coordination for all on-site construction activities, leading the execution of the approved construction plan. Working closely with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders, this individual will ensure construction is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and quality standards. A primary responsibility of this role is to maintain the integrity of the project throughout construction by proactively identifying, coordinating, and resolving issues to ensure the successful delivery of every phase from groundbreaking through project completion.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
5-7 years of commercial construction management experience, including oversight of large-scale mixed-use projects. Experience managing complex retail redevelopment projects is highly preferred.
Strong leadership and organizational abilities with demonstrated expertise in construction execution, contractor coordination, project scheduling, budgeting, quality assurance, contract administration, and problem-solving. Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead multiple teams in a fast-paced construction environment.
