• Ability to work independently and make decisions on the jobsite.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations on residential remodeling job sites.
• Perform carpentry work while overseeing project production.
• Supervise and support carpenters and other field crew members.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and help resolve jobsite issues.
• Work with designers, production managers, and other team members to keep projects on schedule.
• Communicate with clients and participate in client meetings as needed.
• Schedule and coordinate inspections.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
• Ensure crew members follow proper safety procedures.
• Monitor project schedules and communicate any issues or delays.
• Complete punch list items and ensure work is completed to specifications.
• Communicate regularly with the production and planning teams.
• Respond to calls, texts, and emails in a timely manner.
• Complete and submit timesheets, receipts, and reimbursement requests.
• Attend production and company meetings.
• Use technology and project management tools as needed.

Our client is a well-established residential remodeling company looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter to oversee remodeling projects and lead field crews. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for keeping projects organized, on schedule, and up to quality standards.

Pay: $44-$54/hour
Location: Waltham, MA
Schedule: Full-time (7:30am-4:00pm)
