Higgins-Group is seeking a Commercial Carpenter for Manhattan, KS, focused on metal stud framing, drywall systems, and acoustical ceilings in commercial construction. This full-time role requires reading plans and delivering high-quality, safe work on site.

The Commercial Framer will install framing per specs, read blueprints, plan layouts, and lead field crews to meet schedules. Strong communication and safety focus are essential for project success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in metal stud framing (interior and exterior).
• Experience leading crews preferred.
• Ability to read plans and manage layout independently.

Responsabilités

• Install metal stud framing, drywall, and ACT systems per plans and specs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and project docs.
• Plan daily and weekly work to meet project schedules and production goals.
• Lead, manage, and develop field crews on commercial job sites.
• Enforce safety policies and maintain a safe jobsite environment.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and other trades.
