Job summary

Evergy in the Midwest is seeking a Combustion Turbine Engineer to lead strategic turbine projects across multiple energy centers. Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 2–5 years of project or construction management experience on $1–15M projects.
• Understanding power plant operations and utility operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for combustion turbines and new technology initiatives.
• Control budgets and O&M costs, ensuring cost accountability.
• Ensure on-time and within-budget delivery of multi-year capital projects.
• Communicate progress to senior leadership with data-driven reports.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across sites and offices.
