Job summary

HireTalent seeks an Electrical Project Engineer to support combustion turbine facilities through design, construction, and commissioning phases. The role requires independent work and the ability to contribute immediately in an active construction environment.

Responsibilities include reviewing RFIs and submittals, providing electrical engineering support during construction, and coordinating with EPC contractors, project managers, and inspectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 4-7+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• 2-3+ years of experience supporting combustion turbine projects, design, engineering, plant electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Review RFIs, NCRs, questions, and submittals.
• Provide electrical engineering support during construction and installation.
• Review drawings, specs, studies, and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot field installation issues and design conflicts.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, project managers, construction teams, inspectors, and stakeholders.
• Support commissioning and startup activities.
• Ensure compliance with project design requirements.
• Serve as electrical engineering lead for technical matters.
