Job summary

GE Vernova seeks an experienced engineer to own combustion repair processes for heavy duty turbines, driving new product introduction and cost-out initiatives. You will lead repair technology development, collaborate across design, manufacturing, and service engineering, and ensure safety and quality throughout the repair lifecycle.

The role requires a mechanical/Materials background, 3+ years in related environments, and global travel (~10%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in manufacturing, services, repair, or design environment.
• Strong mechanical design and analytical abilities, plus leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and industrialize repair processes and technology for services network.
• Lead projects to improve productivity and fulfillment.
• Collaborate with Repair Development Center and service center engineers for testing.
• Apply lean practices and value-stream mapping to drive improvements.
• Travel to repair centers and customer sites globally (~10%).
