Job summary

T-Solutions, Inc. seeks a Combat Systems Port Engineer (CSPE) to ensure operational readiness of assigned ships. You will lead a maintenance team and act as the primary representative for TYCOM and the Commanding Officer in off-ship maintenance and modernization efforts.

Your in-depth knowledge of operational and maintenance needs for US Navy surface ships will drive readiness, sustainment, and timely modernization, while coordinating with ship crews and management colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience with USN surface ship combat systems and communications.
• Shipboard experience with C4I and C5I systems operation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of depot level combat systems repairs, maintenance, alteration/modernization and testing.

Responsibilities

• Interface with ships’ crew and commanding officer to discuss maintenance plan shortfalls and new work items.
• Validate off-ship maintenance and provide recommendations to the maintenance plan.
• Lead maintenance activities and represent TYCOM and the CO in modernization efforts.
• Assess risk and prioritize all on/off-ship maintenance requirements.
• Support ship maintenance events and address funding, scope and logistics questions.
