Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a shift supervisor to lead daily operations and create a welcoming community space. You will coach team members, ensure quality beverages and food, and manage cash handling and safety on shifts.

The role requires 6 months in customer-facing roles, strong communication and teamwork, and flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Comprehensive benefits apply to partners.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in a position that required constant interacting with and fulfilling the requests of customers
• At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two (2) or more employees
• Ability to direct the work of others
• Effective oral communication skills
• Knowledge of the retail environment
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to build relationships

Responsibilities

• Lead shift with craft and heart to make the coffeehouse welcoming for customers and the community
• Ensure quality beverages and food products, cash handling, store safety and security
• Coach and delegate tasks to team members to run efficient shifts
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance and be flexible with hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays
