Job summary

Food City is seeking an experienced Starbucks department manager to lead the department operations in Radford, VA. You will supervise associates, drive sales, control costs, and ensure safety and quality in a dynamic retail environment.

You will recruit, train, and schedule staff, enforce company standards, and maintain a customer-focused, well-staffed, and clean department that delivers excellent service and product quality to shoppers.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Graduate, with college preferred.
• 3–5 years in retail and/or Starbucks operations, as assistant manager for at least 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Manage Starbucks department and associates to maximize sales and profitability by controlling product loss and promoting sales.
• Delegate workload fairly to ensure customer service expectations are met.
• Provide exceptional service through staffing, scheduling, and training.
• Maintain department cleanliness, product quality, and inventory.
• Lead merchandising, pricing, and marketing programs per company standards.
