GFT, a leading AEC firm, seeks a Senior Coastal Engineer - Technical Lead to join our Geotechnical Dams & Hydraulics Team in Chicago, IL. This hybrid role requires expert-level leadership and hands-on coastal analyses to drive complex projects.

You will mentor staff, set technical directions, and collaborate with clients and regulators to advance coastal, waterfront, and hydraulic design. A PE license and 20+ years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Coastal, Ocean, Water Resources Engineering or related field.
• 20+ years of coastal and hydraulic engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Strong modeling and design capabilities for coastal projects.

Responsabilités

• Serve as technical lead for coastal and hydraulic projects.
• Lead analyses, modeling, and design for complex coastal work.
• Mentor staff and establish engineering standards.
• Represent the firm in technical meetings and client reviews.
