Job summary

KidStrong Cedar Park is seeking a motivated Lead Coach / Sales Specialist to help drive center growth and deliver top-tier athletic programming. This hybrid role blends outbound sales with hands-on coaching for kids, building confidence and physical milestones on the mats.

You will split time between sales activities and coaching, supporting class scheduling, and helping maintain strong class sizes and member retention. Training is provided to new coaches.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of outbound sales experience.
• Experience working directly with children.
• Coaching experience preferred; training provided.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekend mornings.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; basic proficiency in G-Suite / MS Office.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated, high-energy Lead Coach / Sales Specialist to assist our General Manager and Assistant General Manager in driving center growth and delivering top-tier athletic programming.

This hybrid role combines outbound sales and lead management with hands‑on coaching on the mats—working directly with kids to help them build confidence and physical milestones!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Lead Generation (Approx. 20 hrs/week):

• Execute outbound sales efforts (40+ calls per shift) to convert inbound leads into scheduled trials and active memberships.
• Communicate with prospective parents to explain the KidStrong mission, perform trial vetting, and follow up promptly on inquiries.
• Manage front-desk sales operations, phone inquiries, trial check‑ins, guest registrations, and delinquency follow‑ups.

Coaching & Instruction (Approx. 20 hrs/week):

• Coach 8–10 classes per week, delivering age-appropriate physical and athletic programming on the floor.
• Engage directly with kids to build confidence, physical capabilities, and social skills in an energetic environment.
• Support class schedule optimization to maintain strong class sizes and member retention.

Operations & Team Leadership:

• Handle customer service requests, resolve member inquiries, and complete administrative duties.
• Model center culture, maintain high standards, and mentor coaching staff to foster a positive environment.
• Assist management in exceeding center sales, operational, and performance targets (KPIs).

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Sales Experience: Minimum 2 years of sales experience required (outbound phone sales, fitness, retail, or hospitality preferred).
• Childcare / Child‑Facing Experience: Required experience working directly with children (teaching, childcare, youth sports, etc.).
• Coaching Experience: Preferred, but not required—we provide full paid training!
• Schedule Availability: Flexible schedule, including up to 3–4 weekday evenings (classes end around 7 PM) and at least 1 weekend morning shift.
• Skills: Excellent communication, strong organization, self‑motivation, and basic proficiency in G‑Suite / MS Office.

JOB DETAILS & SHIFTS

• Job Types: Full‑time.
• Shift Types: 8‑hour shifts across Morning, Mid‑Day, Evening, and Weekend rotations.
