Inova Staffing is seeking an experienced CNC Set Up Machinist to join a precision-focused manufacturing team in Knoxville, TN. The role involves setting up and running 4- and 5-axis mills, Swiss-style machines, and live-tooling lathes in a low-volume, high-mix environment.

You will read blueprints, verify programs, perform first-piece and in-process inspections, and mentor junior machinists. Shift is 2nd with hours 5pm-3:30am.

Formación

• At least 6 years of CNC machining experience on mills and lathes.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T with strong math skills.
• Skilled at making offset adjustments on multi-axis machines.
• Experience setting up jobs on vertical/horizontal machining centers and CNC turning centers.
• Familiarity with G & M codes and basic Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Willingness to mentor and train junior machinists.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and specialty equipment.
• Run multi-axis machines to fabricate complex components.
• Validate programs during initial setup for new parts.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections for accuracy.
• Read blueprints and interpret G-code.
• Maintain measuring tools and precision instruments.
