Job summary

Fulton Technology Corp is seeking an experienced Lead CNC Machinist to own the shop floor. This hands-on role requires programming, setting up, and running 3- and 4-axis CNC vertical mills and lathes, while leading a team to ensure every part meets specifications.

The position offers competitive pay, an IRA match after one year, and a climate-controlled shop with Fanuc equipment for precision machining. Typical hours are Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–6:00 PM, with occasional Fridays.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a high-precision machining environment.
• Proficiency in CAM programming, setup, and operation of CNC vertical mills and lathes.
• Read and interpret detailed technical drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, operate, and inspect CNC mills and lathes to produce tight tolerance parts.

• Ensure high-quality production by using measurement and inspection tools effectively.

Job description

Fulton Technology Corp is seeking an experienced Lead CNC Machinist to take ownership of our shop floor. This is a hands-on role for someone who can confidently program, set up and run 3- and 4-axis CNC vertical machining centers and lathes, and who is ready to lead others. The Lead Machinist may oversee machinists and machine operators: assigning jobs, troubleshooting setups, training newer team members, and making sure every part meets spec. Candidates must be fully self-sufficient and reliable, and able to ensure the quality of both their own work and their team's without supervision.

Pay: $30–$40+ per hour, depending on performance

• Skilled in using inspection tools
• Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work independently with minimal oversight
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Work Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch break from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
• Occasional Fridays may be required
