Job summary

Software Placement Group is seeking a Lead CNC Machinist/Programmer in Charlotte, NC, to oversee precision machining operations and drive production quality. This hands-on leadership role requires guiding equipment operation and team development.

You will interpret detailed drawings, set up Haas and Fadal mills and lathes, program CNC machines, and mentor junior machinists to build parts efficiently and accurately on-site in Charlotte.

Overview

An established manufacturer is seeking a Lead CNC Machinist/Programmer to oversee precision machining operations and help ensure the quality and efficiency of its production processes. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced machinist ready to guide both equipment operation and team development.

What you'll do

• Interpret detailed blueprint drawings to accurately set up CNC machinery
• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, including Haas and Fadal machines, to produce parts of varying sizes and complexities
• Operate CNC equipment to machine parts with precision and efficiency
