Caliberr Staffing is seeking a seasoned Lead CNC Machinist to guide a productive shop team in a high‑reliability aerospace environment. You will provide hands‑on leadership, ensuring safe practices while driving quality and output in a busy machine shop.

You will collaborate with programmers, supervisors, and fellow machinists to meet daily production goals, support continuous improvement, and maintain strict blueprint adherence.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in a professional manufacturing machine shop.
• Proven leadership or lead capacity mentoring machinists/operators.
• Proficiency in interpreting complex engineering blueprints.
• Solid understanding of modern CNC machining and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across quality, tooling, and production.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily tasks for machine operators and machinists to meet production objectives.
• Configure and run manual and CNC equipment to produce parts per blueprint specifications.
• Collaborate with programming staff to set up, test, and refine parts.
• Conduct regular equipment maintenance and oversee quality inspections to sustain high standards.
• Distribute work across shifts to ensure smooth production flow and on‑time delivery.

• Between five and eight years of experience working in a professional manufacturing machine shop.
• Proven history of leadership or acting in a lead capacity while mentoring other machinists or operators.
• Proficiency in interpreting complex engineering blueprints and executing technical directives.
• Solid understanding of modern CNC machining techniques and Statistical Process Control to help improve shop floor accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration between quality, tooling, and production departments.
