Precision Aerospace Manufacturing in Tucson, AZ is seeking a CNC Lathe Programmer Lead to develop and optimize complex CNC programs for precision components. You will mentor programmers, collaborate with manufacturing teams, and drive efficiencies using CAM, CNC, and tooling technologies.

The role focuses on leading the Lathe Programming Team, implementing BKM, and guiding continuous improvement across setups, processes, and tooling strategies. Relocation support may be provided.

Formación

• Experience programming complex precision-machined components.
• Strong CNC Lathe programming in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with CAM software (GibbsCAM preferred).
• Experience creating advanced CNC programs utilizing high-speed machining strategies.
• Thorough understanding of probing systems and automated process monitoring.
• Experience with Renishaw probing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documents.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• CAD/CAM software knowledge.
• Must live in the Tucson, AZ area or relocate to the USA.

Responsabilidades

• Develop complex CNC programs for precision components on a variety of CNC lathes.
• Utilize GibbsCAM to maximize machining efficiency and high-speed material removal strategies.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, GD&T requirements to create accurate machining programs.
• Convert Mazatrol programs to EIA format as needed and create setup sheets.
• Lead and support the Lathe Programming Team while collaborating with mill programmers and machinists.
• Review and improve programs and setups to reduce cycle times and improve quality.
• Collaborate with setup technicians and operators during program prove-outs and production launches.
