Job summary

Home Helpers Home Care - Utah is seeking a Lead CNA to mentor and support our caregiving team in Utah. The Lead CNA will help train staff, coordinate caregiver training sessions, and assist with client care in homes and offices.

The ideal candidate will hold a current CNA license, have at least 2 years of caregiving experience, and be able to pass a background check and drug screen. Evening/shift coverage and on-call weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Current CNA license required.
• Minimum of 2 years caregiving experience preferred.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Reliable attendance and transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate caregiver training.
• Assist with training in the office and in clients' homes.
• Conduct client intake assessments.
• Introduce new caregivers to clients.
• Fill in as a caregiver when needed.
• Assist with in-office projects (paperwork, phone support, trainings).
• Cover shifts and be on-call every other weekend.

Schedule Requirements

• Evening Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• The evening shift may be eligible for a shift differential.
• Schedule availability is required Monday through Friday.
• Every other weekend on-call coverage is required from 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM.
• Occasional coverage outside of regularly scheduled hours may be required based on business needs, including coverage until 10:00 PM.

Applicants must be able to reliably work this weekday schedule, as it is essential to supporting caregiver training, onboarding, and daily operations. HOURS VARY ON LOCATION! ASK US!!

Requirements

• Current CNA license

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to work independently
• Reliable attendance record
