Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a CMP Installation Technician to execute precise CMP equipment deployment on-site in Texas. You will liaise with external vendors, equipment technicians, and facilities personnel to ensure installations are completed on time and to specification, prioritizing a safety-first culture.

Position Summary

The CMP Installation Technician is responsible for the precise execution of Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) equipment deployment. This role serves as a key technical liaison between external vendors, equipment technicians, and facilities personnel to ensure installations are completed on time and to specification. This role prioritizes a Safety-First culture by continually re-assessing situations and refining operational parameters.

Role and Responsibilities

• Participate in the installation of semiconductor equipment and fabrication facilities.
• Demonstrate an understanding of installation procedures.
• Lead and execute Installation safely, and able to respond to problems positively and determine root cause quickly, document and develop countermeasure to prevent reoccurrence.
• Take ownership of assigned projects.
• Share successful insights with the installation team and mentor junior members as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

Salary and Compensation

The current base salary range for this role is between $26.00 - $33.00/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience.

Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.

Location and Working Hours

All positions at Samsung Austin Semiconductor are full-time on-site.
