Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant I for the AMG Pediatric Hematology/Oncology clinic in Morristown, NJ. This full-time, day-shift role supports physicians, collects specimens, and manages clinical data while maintaining patient comfort and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include patient intake, vital signs, phlebotomy, and assisting with examinations in a fast-paced pediatric setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• National Certification CCMA from: NHA, AAMA, NAHP, ARMA, AMT, AMCA, or NCCT.

Responsibilities

• Take patient intake and update medical records; document vital signs.
• Collect specimens and prepare lab samples for testing.
• Administer medications under physician supervision and assist with examinations.
• Greet patients, schedule appointments, and direct patients through the care process.
• Maintain clean and stocked examination rooms and ensure accurate clinical data entry.
