Job summary

Bowhead seeks a Lead Configuration Management Analyst to support the Navy's Weapons Systems Munitions Integration and Hypersonics division. The CM analyst will focus on configuration control, inventory, maintenance of the CM database, and reporting of configuration status for the Hypervelocity Gun Weapon System program.

The role includes team leadership for approximately six members, ensuring CM processes are followed, changes are properly documented and traceable, and risks are mitigated

Qualifications

• Minimum of a HS Diploma.
• Four (4) years of general experience including three (3) years specialized CM experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and web-based workflow tools.
• DoD programs experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establishes, implements, and maintains CM processes, procedures, and standards.
• Serves as primary CM authority and SME for assigned programs.
• Develops and maintains program documents and SOPs, reports, and TDPs.
• Leads identification, control, and tracking of configuration items.
• Ensures changes are properly documented, implemented, and traceable.
• Coordinates with engineering, program management, quality, logistics, and others to resolve CM issues.
• Develops CM metrics and reports for leadership visibility.
• Provides day-to-day leadership, direction, and technical oversight to the team.
• Mentors and develops team members, promotes knowledge sharing and training.
