Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Security Engineer to design and deploy cloud-native digital forensics platforms across multi-cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-prem. You will own security, automation, and platform resilience at enterprise scale.

You will build IaC with Terraform, implement CI/CD pipelines for releases, and collaborate with security, engineering, and cloud teams to strengthen incident response capabilities.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on security engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS compute, networking, storage, IAM, and audit logging; Azure and/or GCP experience is a plus.
• Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies for secure cloud provisioning.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines for infra and platform releases.
• Automation and scripting in Python/PowerShell/Bash for platform operations.
• Linux and Windows server administration in enterprise environments.
• Cloud security principles including IAM, RBAC, encryption, and compliance.
• Git source control with branching and code review practices.
• Ability to review AI-assisted code and security recommendations for security and resiliency.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise digital forensics platforms across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-prem environments.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform to provision secure, repeatable environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform releases.
• Implement automation for deployment, configuration, monitoring, and operations.
• Perform validation, failover, and production readiness testing for platform resilience.
• Implement cloud networking, storage, IAM, encryption, and security controls per standards.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, engineering, and cloud teams to improve reliability and incident response.
• Apply AI-assisted practices in the software lifecycle to strengthen security testing and threat modeling.
• Create architecture docs, runbooks, and procedures for platform governance.
