Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in cybersecurity with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on cloud-native experience across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud with relevant certs.
• Experience with threat modeling methodologies and risk-based security assessments.
• Knowledge of cloud security posture management tooling and IaC security implications.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product, engineering, and risk teams to embed secure-by-design principles.
• Develop cloud-focused threat hunts and translate findings into detections and controls.
• Apply tooling to analyze large datasets to identify threats and risk patterns.
• Deliver threat models and risk assessments for cloud services and applications.
• Review infrastructure-as-code for alignment with security standards.
• Develop preventive and detective controls for cloud environments at scale.
• Interface with security operations to operationalize detections and incident response.
• Provide guidance on the cloud threat landscape and emerging risks.
• Contribute to documentation and agile processes to ensure consistency.
