Morgan Stanley is seeking a Lead Cloud Security Engineer (Director level) in our Technology division based in Alpharetta, GA. You will design, implement, and operate a multi-cloud security program across AWS, Azure, and GCP, driving secure-by-design architectures and scalable governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years designing and supporting enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP across multiple providers.
• Strong experience with IaC and automation including Terraform and CI/CD.
• Experience with audit, compliance, and security control frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud services including landing zones, IAM, networking, and security.
• Develop scalable, secure architectures aligned with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with Security, Networking, SRE, Platform Engineering, Application Development, and Operations teams.
• Establish cloud governance, guardrails, monitoring, logging, and compliance controls.
• Drive cloud modernization and integration across acquisitions and legacy environments.
• Support developer enablement with reusable platform services and self-service cloud solutions.
• Lead troubleshooting of complex cloud infrastructure across multi-cloud environments.
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend strategic improvements.
• Collaborate with risk, audit, compliance, and regulatory teams for assessments and evidence collection.
• Contribute to cloud strategy, architecture reviews, standards, and roadmaps.
