Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Manager, Cyber Security Engineering to join our Cloud and Platform Security team. You’ll sit at the intersection of security, cloud infrastructure, and data, translating complex business needs into scalable, well-architected data solutions, while setting technical direction and mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams with at least 2 years in a tech lead or people manager role.
• Ability to translate complex business problems into scalable technical solutions.
• Experience building data products that deliver actionable insights.
• Deep experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• 7+ years of relevant engineering experience typical for this level.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical strategy and roadmap for security engineering within the Cloud and Platform Security domain.
• Architect end-to-end data pipelines and platforms that support security telemetry, compliance reporting, and risk analytics.
• Own engineering standards, best practices, and patterns for data ingestion, transformation, storage, and access control.
• Mentor and grow a team of engineers through code reviews and design discussions.
• Lead design, development, and delivery of scalable data infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Ensure data quality, observability, and governance across all systems.
