Job summary

Lila Sciences seeks a Senior Engineer II, Cloud Security to strengthen cloud and SaaS security across our infrastructure, platforms, and AI-enabled systems. You will own hands-on security across CSPM, CNAPP, SSPM, and guide remediation, guardrail design, and threat detection improvements.

You will partner with IT, DevSecOps, AI, and platform teams to mature security controls for MLOps pipelines and AI-enabled platforms, while translating risk into actionable priorities.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on cloud and SaaS security ownership.
• Strong AWS security knowledge (IAM, SCPs, VPC, KMS, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Config).
• Hands-on CSPM/CNAPP tooling experience (Wiz or similar).
• Experience with SIEM/EDR and security tooling in detection and response workflows.
• Incident response experience: triage, containment, recovery, post-incident reviews.

Responsibilities

• Own cloud and SaaS security posture management across AWS, IaaS/PaaS, and core SaaS platforms.
• Configure and tune CSPM/CNAPP/SSPM tooling to surface and prioritize risk.
• Drive remediation of cloud, SaaS, and workload findings with infrastructure teams.
• Build and tune high-fidelity detections across SIEM/EDR/CSPM and related systems.
• Lead incident response triage, containment, recovery, and post-incident reviews.
• Strengthen cloud-native workload and container security across AWS, Kubernetes, and hardened AMIs.
