The National Security Sector at Leidos has an opening for a Lead Cloud Security Architect supporting the SABRE program at Hanscom AFB, MA. This position is on a future contract pending award.

Responsibilities Include:

• Serve as the principal liaison for enterprise boundary defense initiatives, ensuring proper identification and implementation of cybersecurity controls in line with agency and NIST guidelines.
• Oversee compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement security measures for cloud-based solutions that meet Government requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to security architects and engineers.
• Develop security standards and best practices for cloud infrastructure in AWS and FedRAMP+ environments.
• Evaluate new cloud security technologies and services, making recommendations for adoption.
• Maintain documentation for cloud security solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure cloud solutions.
• Maintain relationships with Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) and vendors to ensure security alignment.
• Ensure understanding of NIST standards and Federal and DoD policies.
• Lead efforts to support security practices throughout the software development lifecycle, including monitoring and incident response.

Clearance Required:

• Active DoD Secret clearance

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

• BS degree and 8+ years of experience in cloud security, or additional experience in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years in a leadership role.
• 2+ years working in a DoD or Federal environment.
• Hands-on experience with AWS in FedRAMP+ environments.
• DoDI 8570.01/8140.02 IASAE Level III or IASAE II transitioning to III certification.
• Deep knowledge of DoD Cloud Computing SRG v1 R4, DISA STIGs, and cloud security best practices.
• Expertise in identity/access management, encryption, and network security.
• Experience with cloud security policies, monitoring, and automation.
• Strong understanding of zero-trust, hybrid cloud security, and SecOps.

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education:

• CISSP certification.
• CCSP certification.
• AWS Security Specialty certification.
• Experience with ZTA in DoD environments.
• Knowledge of NSA CNSSP 125 & DISA Cloud Provisional Authorization processes.
