Job summary

Hayes Locums is seeking an IT Manager, Infrastructure & Software Delivery to lead the cloud operations, systems administration, and in-house software development efforts. This hands-on leader will bridge engineering and operations, driving secure, scalable delivery of a React-based client portal and integrations with Salesforce and MuleSoft.

You will manage two teams—Infrastructure & Operations and SDLC—ensuring high uptime, secure deployments, and alignment with NIST and SOC 2 Type 2

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or software development with 2+ years leading teams.
• Hands-on with multi-cloud (Azure, some AWS), Windows & Linux, scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash), CI/CD, IaC (Terraform/Ansible).
• React front-end and Node/.NET/Python back-end experience; API integrations (Salesforce, MuleSoft)
• Familiarity with monitoring (New Relic, Azure Monitor) and incident management (PagerDuty, Zendesk).
• Security/compliance focus incl. NIST, SOC 2 Type 2; governance and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead Infrastructure and SDLC teams, mentor engineers, drive hiring and development.
• Own multicloud operations, Windows/Linux, containers, and serverless workloads.
• Oversee React client portal delivery, Salesforce/MuleSoft integrations, and data pipelines.
• Oversee Azure DevOps pipelines, IaC, and secure deployments.
• Embed security across teams; coordinate with Cybersecurity and audits.
• Establish observability stack and incident response to protect client services.
• Plan and deliver cross-functional initiatives using Agile and Monday.com.
• Hands-on involvement in architecture, PR reviews, and tooling standards.
