JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer - Cloud Platform Engineer/Azure to help build trusted, scalable technology within Corporate Technology Infrastructure Platform. You will be a core technical contributor shaping architectural decisions across Azure, Terraform, and AI-assisted tooling.

You will lead an agile team, drive secure coding practices, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to deliver high-quality production software that supports the firm’s objectives.

Qualifications

Formal training or certification on system design concepts.
Hands-on experience in Python, Terraform and public cloud (Azure).
Experience with CI/CD, security, and resiliency practices.
Experience with Azure/AWS cloud and infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

Executes creative software solutions with ability to think beyond routine challenges.
Develops secure high-quality production code and reviews code written by others.
Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to drive architectural decisions.
Drives adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery.
Promotes secure coding, peer review, and automated testing across the team.
