Qualifications

• Leadership experience in small to mid sized engineering teams
• Strong diagnostic/troubleshooting in production environments
• Experience supervising software development projects
• Excellent communication skills
• On-call DevOps/SRE/Cloud Operations experience
• Strong Linux and networking knowledge
• Familiar with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Ability to script/write programs to solve problems
• CS/CE degree or equivalent, plus 2+ of Java/Go/Python/Typescript

Responsibilities

• Lead Cloud Operations Engineering team and collaborate with management
• Guide project deliverables and maintain high quality outcomes
• Overlap with incident and project management for resilience
• Coordinate with Product, Technical Services and R&D
• Ensure uptime guarantees for Atlas customer base
• Design and deploy scalable monitoring and automation
• Identify opportunities to automate and optimize workflows
• Participate in weekly on-call rotation
