Job summary

The Eliassen Group in Chicago, IL seeks a Lead Software Engineer for a hybrid in-office/remote role focused on cloud-native data platforms within a Customer Data Platform team. You will shape engineering standards, influence platform direction, and mentor engineers while building scalable, secure data solutions on AWS.

Responsibilities include end-to-end lifecycle ownership, collaboration with product and architecture stakeholders, and delivering high-impact data platforms with strong DevOps

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of software engineering experience with scalable, UX-driven and distributed systems.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices architecture, Kubernetes and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver large-scale cloud-native data platforms on AWS with microservices and event-driven apps.
• Lead technical initiatives for performance, scalability, reliability, security, governance and cost efficiency.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with product management, architecture, and stakeholders.
• Own the entire software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment and observability.
• Partner with global teams to align solutions with strategic objectives.
