Job summary

Centuria in Norman, Oklahoma seeks a Cloud Integration Engineer to deploy and maintain ROC-side integration components connecting to NWS enterprise cloud platforms like HIVE and CIRRUS. You will automate deployment pipelines and ensure real-time NEXRAD data transitions from ground systems to cloud environments.

The role focuses on building reliable integration endpoints, configuring secure access, and sustaining high-throughput data delivery while coordinating with engineering teams on cloud

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience.
• 3+ years deploying and integrating systems in AWS or similar cloud environments.
• Experience with high-throughput data streaming protocols (Kafka, Polaris, MQTT).
• Hands-on with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) for automated deployment.
• Understanding of cloud networking (API gateways, VPC, VPNs, DNS).
• Proficient Linux admin with Python or Bash for automation.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain ROC-side integration components and data delivery services.
• Create automated deployment scripts, IaC templates, and pipelines.
• Configure ROC cloud connections, access controls, and boundary interfaces.
• Monitor and optimize data ingestion from ROC to NWS cloud ingress points.
• Draft interface control documents and integration test plans for cloud migration milestones.
• Provide engineering support for API failures and data pipeline issues.
