Job summary

Centuria Corporation is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our Norman, OK team supporting the National Weather Service Radar Operations Center. You will be part of the Systems Engineering group, providing design, analysis, and integration of radar network computer systems, security, and networking.

You will analyze feasibility and performance, develop technical docs, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure reliable weather infrastructure and compliant configurations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in CS or EE preferred; other technical0disciplines considered with relevant experience.
• Experience in system design and requirements analysis for complex computer systems.
• Familiarity with feasibility, cost/benefit and alternatives analyses and documentation.
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
• Radar systems and equipment knowledge highly desirable.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and systems architecture and integration.
• Experience with Linux environments including embedded Linux.
• Knowledge of IPv4/IPv6, sub netting, NAT, and ACL concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide system design and requirements analysis for complex computer systems.
• Conduct feasibility, cost/benefit, and alternatives analyses for modifications and large-scale programs.
• Develop documentation including technical specs, design docs, and integration plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure hardware, software, and systems integration.
• Perform system integration and testing to validate functionality and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system design, integration, and performance.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in computer systems and architecture.
• Translate program requirements into viable technical solutions.
