Job summary

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is seeking a senior cloud engineer to design and automate complex cloud environments using Terraform, AWS, Ansible, and Jenkins. You will manage IaC pipelines, secure data with KMS, and maintain multi-account AWS architectures.

You will collaborate with DevOps teams, provide operational support, and contribute to documentation and architecture decisions within a hybrid work model offering up to 40% telecommuting.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in cloud engineering or similar roles.
• Experience with AWS cloud, IaC tooling, and automation architecture.
• Proven ability to design secure, scalable cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage automated workflows for provisioning and maintaining cloud environments.
• Develop automation scripts and procedures; enable DevOps activities.
• Support complex development tasks using Docker, Kafka, and container tech.
• Provide advanced system administration and on-call support.
• Implement changes during maintenance windows and document procedures.
• Encrypt data with AWS KMS for S3, RDS, EFS, EBS; manage Terraform/Ansible code in GitHub.
• Configure Jenkins pipelines for Terraform/Ansible automation; multi-account AWS setup.
