Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Lead Software Engineer - Cloud Architect to drive cloud-native solutions on AWS from Patrick Space Force Base. You will design, implement, and optimize secure cloud architectures, leveraging IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.

Expect collaboration with customers and engineers to translate mission needs into practical software capabilities that protect information and mission success.

Qualifications

• Active TS with the ability to obtain SCI.
• Security+ or equivalent DoD IAT Level II Certification required, or ability to obtain within 80 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering; graduate degree preferred; extensive related experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, cloud-based solutions on AWS.
• Develop IaC solutions using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Engage with customers to translate mission needs into software capabilities.
• Prepare architectural designs and roadmaps aligning with organizational goals.
• Deliver documentation and present complex concepts to stakeholders.
• Support mission areas with flexible, on-site/cloud-based deployments.
