Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Lead Software Engineer – Cloud Architect with active TS/SCI clearance to lead design, development, and deployment of secure, scalable cloud solutions on AWS at Patrick Space Force Base.

You will implement IaC with Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation, guide architectural decisions, interact with customers, and prepare roadmaps while ensuring compliance and performance.

Qualifications

• Active TS clearance with ability to obtain SCI.
• Security+ or DoD IAT Level II or equivalent, or ability to obtain within 80 days.
• Minimum 9 years of relevant experience or 7 with graduate degree; 13 years if no degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of scalable cloud-based solutions on AWS.
• Develop IaC using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Interact with customers to understand requirements and translate into cloud capabilities.
• Prepare architectural designs and roadmaps for cloud solutions.
• Document designs, processes, and deployments for reproducibility.
• Deliver presentations to stakeholders on technical concepts.
