Job summary

Everforth Apex in Dahlgren, VA seeks a Software Engineer (Cloud & DevOps) to design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable web applications for mission-critical operations. You will build with JavaScript and full-stack tech, design CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and work with AWS/Azure in a regulated environment requiring DoD clearance readiness.

Collaborate with security, operations, and engineering teams; maintain documentation, support devops tools, and contribute to performance

Qualifications

• U.S. citizens able to obtain/maintain DoD clearance.
• Five to eight years of software engineering experience.
• DoD IAT Level I (Level II preferred) certification.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain secure, scalable web apps for mission-critical ops.
• Contribute to architecture and design decisions for reliability and performance.
• Develop and maintain functionality using modern languages and full-stack tech.
• Support integration with data sources and analytics platforms.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments.
• Collaborate with security, admins, and stakeholders to implement solutions.
• Create and maintain technical docs, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
