Job summary

Netsmart seeks a Lead Software Architect, Cloud & AI Modernization to steer architecture direction for CareDimensions. This hands-on leader bridges legacy complexity with cloud-enabled, scalable, and AI-aware solutions in an onsite role in Overland Park, KS.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
Hands-on software engineering and modernization experience.
Experience with legacy systems and cloud-native design.

Responsibilities

Lead application architecture guidance for CareDimensions products and engineering teams.
Assess current-state systems and define practical modernization paths for scalability and cloud readiness.
Partner with engineering on architecture decisions, reviews, prototypes, and reference implementations.
Collaborate with DevOps and cloud partners to improve CI/CD, deployment patterns, monitoring, and reliability.
Guide architecture across AWS, distributed systems, APIs, data flows, and secure cloud-enabled design.
Help teams modernize legacy components through modular design and service boundaries.
