Job summary

U.S. Bank in the United States seeks a Fund Administration Closed-End Fund Supervisor to lead day-to-day compliance for closed-end funds and BDC clients, ensuring timely regulatory filings and accurate financial statements.

You will oversee audits, coordinate with advisers, custodians, and auditors, and mentor staff while driving process improvements and ensuring strong governance and ethics.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of regulatory and accounting principles affecting registered investment funds.
• Strong understanding of the Investment Company Act of 1940 and related regulations.
• Demonstrated experience managing and developing professional staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for fund compliance programs, regulatory filings, and financial statement preparation.
• Serve as the primary client contact for regulatory and operational matters.
• Coordinate fund operations with service providers including investment advisors and auditors.
• Oversee preparation and review of financial statements, shareholder reports, and SEC filings.
• Review fund activity to identify issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage fund expenses and provide reporting for Boards of Directors.
• Oversee audits and work with external auditors.
• Provide training on regulatory changes to staff.
• Evaluate procedures and implement process improvements.
• Support business growth initiatives and new client/product activities.
