Job summary

Medix is seeking experienced Clinical Research RN Supervisors to provide leadership and oversight across multiple research studies within a leading health system in Orlando, FL. The role focuses on ensuring safe, compliant conduct of research activities and effective team management.

Ideal candidates will have an active RN license, robust clinical research experience, and prior supervisory responsibilities within a hospital or health-system environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Clinical research experience required.
• Supervisory or team-leadership experience preferred.
• Experience as a Research Manager or Clinical Research Supervisor encouraged.
• Hospital or health-system experience preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and support clinical research staff.
• Provide clinical and operational guidance to the research team.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of multiple clinical studies.
• Partner with physicians, investigators, nurses, and other professionals.
• Support study start-up, enrollment, implementation, and ongoing activities.
• Monitor study progress, enrollment, timelines, and workload.
• Assist with patient screening, enrollment, and visits.
• Ensure adherence to protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Promote quality and patient safety in research practices.
• Identify operational challenges and drive process improvements.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Collaborate with leadership to support program growth and new initiatives.
