Job summary

HCA HealthONE Aurora seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator Progressive Care to lead a nursing unit, coordinating shift activities and ensuring high-quality patient care. The CNC will act as a resource to staff, supporting education and adherence to standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, patient safety, and teamwork within a dynamic care environment, with a strong focus on improving outcomes and staff collaboration in a progressive care setting.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado RN license or valid multi-state license
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross; ACLS required
• BSN preferred; ongoing professional involvement encouraged
• Two years of clinical nursing in the unit; six months of leadership/management experience required
• Commitment to staffing standards, patient safety and positive patient experience

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all unit functions during the designated shift under supervision
• Serve as resource and educate staff members as needed
• Maintain overall quality of nursing care when on duty
• Make decisions per Administrative, Nursing, HR and care standards in collaboration with management
