Responsibilities

• Directs workflow according to clinical priority.
• Supervises employees and supports manager.
• Trains new employees and students.
• Oversees data collection and liaises with Pathology.
• Performs laboratory procedures and records results.
• Manages specimens and communicates critical values.
• Performs quality control and proficiency testing.
• Maintains/calibrates laboratory instruments and troubleshoots issues.
