Job summary

Arkansas Children's Hospital laboratory position is a full-time, on-site role within CC094071 Lab. Starting pay ranges between $23.00 and $28.70 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

The ideal candidate has an Associate Degree or equivalent experience, with a recommended Bachelor's Degree. The position is safety sensitive and requires relevant certification within one year.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Equivalent Experience is required.
• Bachelor's Degree recommended.

Responsibilities

• Assists with research, development, and/or validation of new policies, procedures and/or instruments.
• Manages stock levels, rotation, and monitors expiration.
• Performs laboratory procedures and calculates, transcribes and records test results.
• Prepares and manages specimens for analysis, refers results to Pathology, correlates results and communicates and documents findings.
• Performs Manual Result Review and proficiency testing.
• Performs maintenance procedures on laboratory instruments and/or equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
