Qualifications

• Bachelor's in medical technology, chemistry, physics, or biology preferred.
• 3–5 years' experience in a clinical laboratory or specimen collection setting preferred.
• Background or experience in supervision preferred.
• Requires knowledge of computers and common software programs.
• Requires knowledge of SOPs, testing techniques, and regulations.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates work performed by laboratory personnel.
• Maintains laboratory equipment, materials and supply inventories.
• Ensures accurate record keeping and prepares analyses and reports.
• Provides support to meet department goals and maintain quality patient care.
• Recommends improvements in laboratory procedures and systems.
