Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Medical Technology or related sciences, with 1 year of experience and board-certification eligibility, progressing within the lab hierarchy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related sciences.
• 1 year of relevant experience.
• Certification required or eligible for board certification (ASCP AMT NCA ACHI or equivalent); certification within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory tests on patient specimens and reports results.
• Maintains records of performance and adheres to quality control standards.
• Acts as a resource for staff and may instruct students on laboratory procedures.
• Participates in research and development activities when applicable.
• Develops or modifies procedures as directed by management or the laboratory director.
