Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or a related science.
• CLIA TC and TS qualifications required.
• 4+ years in high-complexity laboratory testing; 2+ years in moderate complexity.
• Certification by ASCP, AMT, NCA or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel regionally.
• Strong computer/software knowledge.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversees technical work to ensure quality test results across regional labs.
• Maintains training, quality control, and documentation.
• Writes and updates policies and procedures.
• Ensures compliance with CLIA and ASHI regulations and inspection readiness.
• Travels to regional sites and coordinates with lab leaders.
• Coordinates regional/system projects related to technical/regulatory functions.
• Keeps abreast of trends by reading publications and collaborating with SMEs.
