As Certified Laboratory Supervisor in the Microbiology Laboratory, you will oversee daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead a team of technologists to maintain accuracy and efficiency in testing.

You will guide quality control, data analysis, and reporting, mentor staff, and drive continuous improvement while staying current with microbiology trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology/MLS or related fields.
• 3–5 years of training/experience performing high-complexity testing in microbiology.
• Current certification through ASCP / AMT / NCA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily laboratory operations, staffing, scheduling, and resource utilization.
• Ensure workflow management to support testing demands and goals.
• Oversee laboratory equipment, materials, and supply inventories.
• Assist with laboratory procedures, testing activities, and research projects as needed.
• Develop, implement, and monitor quality control and quality assurance procedures.
